Postponement of Group-I, Paper-4, of Intermediate (IPC) examination scheduled for 14th November 2014 to 23rd November 2014
It is hereby informed that due to unavoidable circumstances the examination of Group - I, Paper - 4 - Taxation of Intermediate (IPC) Examination which was scheduled for 14th November - 2014 stands postponed. The said examination will now be held on 23rd November - 2014 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM (IST). The venue of the examination to be held on 23rd November 2014 shall remain unchanged except in the case of some centres in the cities of Ajmer, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Ernakulam, Kolkata and New Delhi. A detailed announcement regarding details of such change in venue is being hosted separately. Admit cards already issued, shall remain valid for the examination on 23rd November, 2014, for all the candidates. |

Postponement of Date of Applicability of Advanced ITT course. - (12-09-2014)
As per Regulation 29(c)(iv) of The Chartered Accountants Regulation 1988, students who have registered for Practical Training on or after August 1st, 2012 were required to complete Advanced IT Training before admission to the Final Examination. Having regard to infrastructure and other facilities, the Council of the Institute decided to defer the implementation date of Regulation 29( c )(iv) from August 1, 2012 to February 1, 2013. Accordingly, 100 Hours Advanced ITT course will now be applicable to those students who have registered for Practical Training on or after February 1st, 2013 but before appearing in the Final Examination in terms of Regulation 29(c)(iv) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
Students are, however, advised to complete the Advanced ITT well in advance before appearing in the Final Examination so as to avoid any hardship at a later date.

Non applicability of Sections 407 to 414 of the Companies Act 2013, for the Intermediate (IPC) Examination to be held in November 2014
It is hereby informed that Sections 407 to 414 of the Companies Act, 2013 relating to NCLT and NCLAT (notified on 12th September, 2013) formed part of the syllabus of the abovementioned paper as applicable for November, 2014 examinations. Consequently, the said sections were also incorporated in, Para 1.19 of Unit 1 from Page Nos. 22 to 26 of the Supplementary Study paper prepared for the said examinations.
However, keeping in view the fact that the NCLT and NCLAT are not in operation till date, students are hereby informed that the notified Sections 407 to 414 of the Companies Act, 2013 are not applicable for Intermediate (IPC) examination, to be held in November 2014 (Paper 2: Business Laws, Ethics and Communication).

Advanced ITT to announced Shortly.
Advanced ITT is applicable only to students who registered for CA Final on or after 1st August 2012. Such candidates must undergo Advanced ITT during 3rd year of Articleship but before appearing in CA Final. The training will be of 100 hours and alike ITT it would be done for around 2 months with 3 to 5 hours maximum per day. ICAI is expected to come out with more details before september this year.
